In the continuing partnership between the Acadiana Outreach Center and the Plastic Theater of Lafayette, clients of the Acadiana Outreach Center and actors from the local arts community will perform a script based on the stories of these brave women's lives as they share how they have dealt with addiction and homelessness on the streets of Acadiana. The script will be created via improvisation and workshops led by Michael Cato, Josh Coen, Elaine Kibodeaux, Jody Powell and the Wanderlust Theatre Company in sound, movement, improvisation, acting and puppetry.
"Off the Streets" is directed and produced by Keith Dorwick, Artistic Director of the Plastic Theater of Lafayette and co-directed by Elaine Kibodeaux, member of Lafayette's own Cult of the Stage Monkey.
